About Western Horizon Resorts

Western Horizon Resorts was founded by Jim Loken and family in 1984 and was designed to provide RVers with an exceptional outdoor vacation experience. Currently the corporation operates 18 resorts, Vista Group RV Insurance and two affiliated camping networks: Sunbelt USA and Adventure Outdoor Resorts as well as one RV park in Mexico.


Western Horizon is building a nationally branded company known for its superior RV resort properties and the widest array of services for camp/resort members in the industry. The Western Horizon system is located in 8 states with 3,000 RV sites and numerous rental trailers & cabins.

 

Western Horizon Headquarters is in Gunnison, Colorado, and it is managed by James C. Loken and his executive staff and employees.

Western Horizons Kino Bay Retreat

 

The Kino Bay Retreat in Mexico is designed exclusively for Western Horizon, Sunbelt & AOR USA members. The resort is situated on a 100 acre property west of Hermosillo and near Bahia Kino on the Sea of Cortez. With the resort located on a 50 ft. bluff overlooking the ocean, all sites have ocean views. This is truly an RV er's dream retreat.

 

We have designed this camping resort for long-term stays. There will be a nominal Daily Amenity Fee and NO annual dues.
