A:  YES it most certainly is. Mexico unfortunately has received excessive negative publicity in the Canadian and US media due to its efforts to curb and eliminate drug trafficking within its boundaries. According to Mexican sources, during 2010, 22 million foreign visitors arrived to enjoy the beauty and culture of Mexico. It is as safe if not safer than traveling in your own country. A: No. At this time Canadian and US cell providers that provide Mexican service only do so in major Mexican cities. (Cell phones will work in Hermosillo depending on your access plan.)

A: Yes. Seasonal stays are available and encouraged.  Campers must belong to AOR, Sunbelt or Western Horizons (with the Mexican endorsement). Seasonal stay rates are considerably less expensive than local parks. As well, WHR Kino Bay offers more amenities than the surrounding parks. See our Rates & Reservations page for details.

A: No. However ethernet connections (to plug in your laptop or net book) are available at the office; as well, a computer is available at the office for checking email.
